The Sarpy County Museum was the recipient of more than $1,700 in donations over the 24-hour Omaha Gives! program. This equals a huge gain over last year’s numbers for the museum and represents more than 40 donors, some of which are not museum members. We were humbled and amazed by the donations to our Save the Sarpy Caboose campaign. As this is being written, the roadbed which will hold our transported caboose, is being prepared on-site. Thanks to everyone who continues to support our campaign to bring the 1967 caboose to the museum.
