When you make an estate plan, or update your existing one, please consider leaving a bequest to the Sarpy County Museum. Your memory will live on as a part of the museum, as a part of the community, and as a part of local history. Making a bequest can also offer tax advantages. There are several ways you can make a bequest:
- Make a general bequest to the Sarpy County Historical Society and Museum to use at our discretion. This can be a set amount or percentage of the value of your estate.
- Direct the endowment of a specific program or exhibit.
- Designate the Sarpy County Museum as a beneficiary on your life insurance, retirement accounts, or checking/savings accounts.
We would be delighted to hear of your decision to do so, for a confidential discussion, please contact our Executive Director, Faith Morrison, at (402) 292-1880.
