FUNDRAISING LUNCHEON FEATURES CHRIS SAYER

Fundraising Luncheon Features Chris Sayer

Tickets for the Sarpy County Museum’s Aug. 2 fundraising luncheon are now available. The luncheon’s theme is “Through the Years,” to coincide with the 2014 celebration of the 80th birthday of the Sarpy County Historical Society.

Entertainment will be provided by Chris Sayer, a Lincoln native who has spent more than 30 years performing traditional and contemporary American folk music. Sayer can play more than a dozen instruments, has played in both western swing and Celtic bands and has produced two solo CDs.

Cost for the event, which includes two meats, salads and dessert, plus the entertainment, is $20 per person. Tickets are available now at the museum. Participants can also enjoy a silent auction and raffle. Sponsorships are available with a minimum $100 donation and the organizing committee is accepting donations of auction or raffle items.

The luncheon is held at Bellevue University on the lower level of the administration building. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. with the meal served at noon. Silent auction donations can be dropped off at the museum any time before July 29.
