Sarpy County Museum

Join the Sarpy County Museum on Saturday, July 15th at 2 PM as they feature Hawaiian Quilting presented by Sandra Allgeier. She will talk about the craft of Hawaiian quilting and show quilts she is currently making. She will also feature a video from the Nebraska Quilt Museum. This program is part of the annual Great Sarpy County Quilt Exhibit featuring over 85 quilts, both historic and modern, from area quilters running now through August 19th. Live quilt demonstrations, scheduled throughout the summer, will complement this exhibit. Admission to the museum and these programs are free, but donations are always welcome. The Great Sarpy County Quilt Exhibit is sponsored by the Braided River Quilt Guild.
Sandra Allgeier has been a quilter for most of her life and loves to share with others interested in this craft. Sandra is board member of the Cass County Museum, a life-long Nebraska resident and has a significant moment in history as being the first student to register for college at Bellevue University.
